Behind the Scenes: Onyx By Aneesa Solomon Summer’15

Hello Lovelies

If you follow me on social media you know earlier this week I lived one of my blogger dreams. I was chosen as one of the bloggers to represent the beautiful abaya range Onyx by designer Aneesa Solomon. The shoot was for the brands Summer’15 range.

The garments are beautiful and they ooze glamour and class. Aneesa is a sophisticate and you can see that it transcends through her designs and choice of materials.

I would be lying if I don’t mention that it was rather daunting as this was my first professional photo shoot. It took a few shots until it became fun, but after that it was the best experience. It helped a lot with my confidence and made me realize I should concentrate on my strengths rather than my flaws.

This is just a introductory post to the brand, the new collection will only be available in January 2015, so lookout for a full post then.

For now here’s a little taste of my experience.

The spread below indicates that models don’t only live on healthy greens. The yummiest treats and drinks were offered to us throughout the day.

Makeup was done by the lovely Trisha of How Do I look Imageology, and she’s one of the best and kindest makeup artists I have ever dealt with. (Contact Number for Trisha : 072 444 0376)
Trisha used all this to create wonderful looks which I can’t wait to share with you when I receive the final images.

Just a little snippet of the garments on offer:

I know I have piqued your interest now, so head over to Aneesa’s website here to shop her previous Onyx range. Also like the Onyx page on Facebook here for regular updates.
